Agreement
These terms are a legal agreement between you and FlowTask LLC for the use of FlowLedger, and they serve as the end user license agreement for the FlowLedger application. By creating an organization or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you are using FlowLedger for a company, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that company.
License
Subject to these terms, FlowTask LLC grants you a limited, non exclusive, non transferable, revocable right to access and use FlowLedger for your own business. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, or provide access to the service to others without our written permission. We retain all rights in the software that are not expressly granted to you here.
The service
FlowLedger is an evidence layer above QuickBooks. It pairs your accounting records against a second source, reports the leftover in real dollars, and shows confidence from real evidence. When the evidence is not there, FlowLedger says so and leaves the figure blank rather than inventing one. FlowLedger is a control and reporting tool. It does not write back to QuickBooks or to any connected source.
Accounts and organizations
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for activity under your account.
- An owner controls team members and their roles within an organization.
Acceptable use
- Do not use FlowLedger for any unlawful purpose.
- Do not attempt to breach, disrupt, or reverse engineer the service.
- Do not resell or provide access to the service without our written permission.
Third party services
FlowLedger connects to services you choose, such as QuickBooks, Stripe, banks, and payment processors. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. By connecting a source, you authorize FlowLedger to read the data needed to reconcile your books. FlowLedger is independent and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Intuit or Stripe.
Your data
Your data is yours. You grant FlowTask LLC a limited license to store and process your data for the sole purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your data and we do not sell it. You can export or delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Fees and billing
FlowLedger offers a free plan and paid plans. Paid plans are billed as recurring subscriptions through Stripe. The price and billing period are shown at checkout and in your settings. You can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are not refundable except where the law requires it. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
Not professional advice
FlowLedger presents information and evidence computed from the data you connect. It is not accounting, tax, audit, or legal advice. You remain responsible for your books and filings and should confirm decisions with a qualified professional.
Accuracy and honest evidence
FlowLedger computes figures from your stored data and reports gaps honestly. We do not guarantee that the source data you provide is complete or correct, and results depend on the quality and coverage of the data you connect or import.
Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error free.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, FlowTask LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using FlowLedger and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached. On termination, your right to use the service ends and your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update the service and these terms. If we make a material change to these terms, we will update this page and the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which FlowTask LLC is organized, without regard to conflict of law rules.
