Who we are

FlowLedger is a product of FlowTask LLC. FlowLedger is an evidence layer above QuickBooks that reconciles your books against a second source and reports the leftover in real dollars. This policy explains what data we collect, why we hold it, and the choices you have. It covers the FlowLedger application at flowledger.flowtasks.io.

Information we collect

We only hold data that is needed to run the service for you.

  • Account and organization data. Your name, email address, the organization you create, and the team members you invite.
  • Financial data you connect or import. When you link QuickBooks, FlowLedger reads your accounting records so it can reconcile them. Access is read only. When you connect a bank or a payment processor, or import a statement or settlement file, we store the transactions and documents you provide so they can be paired and explained.
  • Billing data. Subscriptions are handled by Stripe. We store a customer reference and your current plan. We do not store your card number.
  • Technical and usage data. Sign in sessions and an audit trail of actions taken inside your organization, kept so an owner can see what changed and when.

How we use your data

  • To reconcile your books and produce the evidence, leftover, and findings you asked for.
  • To operate, secure, and support the service.
  • To manage your subscription and billing.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it to train models that serve other customers. We do not show advertising. FlowLedger never writes back to QuickBooks or to any connected source.

QuickBooks and Intuit

QuickBooks is your system of record. FlowLedger connects with read only access and stores the accounting records needed to reconcile and explain your books. We never create, edit, or delete anything in your QuickBooks company. You can disconnect QuickBooks at any time from the connections screen. When you disconnect, or when you ask us to delete your data, we remove the stored records associated with that source. FlowLedger is an independent product and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Intuit.

Service providers

A small set of providers process data only to run FlowLedger on our behalf, under their own security and privacy commitments.

  • Intuit QuickBooks, as the source of the accounting data you choose to connect.
  • Stripe, for subscription billing and for any payment processor you choose to connect.
  • Cloudflare, for network delivery and protection.
  • Our hosting environment, which runs the application and database.

Data retention and deletion

You stay in control of your data. You can disconnect any source, and you can purge all financial data for your organization from settings. Deleting your account removes your identity and your organization data. Some records, such as billing history, may be retained where the law requires it. To request deletion or ask a question about your data, contact us through the support link below.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access tokens for connected sources are stored securely and are used only to read the data you authorized. Access inside the application is controlled by your organization roles.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local law. We honor those rights for every customer.

Cookies

FlowLedger uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross site tracking cookies.

Children

FlowLedger is a business tool and is not directed to children.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change, we will update this page and the date above. Continued use of FlowLedger after a change means you accept the updated policy.
